Course Description:
This introductory level course provides students with a foundation in the software and hardware involved in the creation of Digital Media. It also provides an introduction to the conceptual framework surrounding contemporary digital media art practice. Some questions that will be addressed: What various, and often contradictory, definitions are there for Digital Media? What is digital (or new) media art? Who are artists working with digital media? What digital tools can one incorporate into their art practice? Lectures, readings and class discussions will compliment studio production. Using Photoshop, Processing, and Final Cut Pro, students will complete a series of assignments and a final project.

…
so, this class is ten hours a week and only worth three credits? I’m going to be honest with you sister, the class time/credit ratio will probably repel many potential students.
It’s a six week class…its a RISD thing in between semesters.
