ice cream
Last week, I gleefully purchased 1.5 quarts of limited edition Junior Mint ice cream, only to realize that neither of my current roommates eat dairy. Having just moved out of a house with nine people in it, having too much ice cream has not been a problem for a long time..if ever. It’s bewildering.
New House
I moved out of Providence last month and now live in a beautiful pink house in Jamaica Plain!
bringing in the new
Ahh, Reno. Every christmas is a big reunion. As many of my old friends are now scattered all over the country (and world) it is so nice to get to see everyone once a year. I’m so proud of them. Stef will have two masters degrees in one more semester; Julie is teaching in Madrid; Lauren Glen in London at Sotheby’s; Lauren and Mac and my Seattle friends are happy, keeping it real; Kate lives in Alaska…it’s so grown up! Tear! Anyways, I’ve had a great time in Reno. Stayed at my parent’s house, ate good food and had a car to drive around. Some snippets:
Stefanie and I stayed in a huge suite that her dad got for us at Harrahs! This is the view from the window in the morning. If you look closely you can see the NMA, where I used to work.
This is Roxanne and Jason’s (well, Roxanne’s) adorable new puppy, Machete.
This is a field near my parent’s house. It was snowing when I got into town, but that melted in a day or two.
Here’s to a happy new year! 2007…crazy.
my desk at home
I actually never work here. I’m always at school. But today I was in it for a bit, and it was nice.
